I offer my HMB coaching course which covers mindfulness oriented discovery. It is designed to give a grounding in all core aspects of mindfulness. The weekly overview is:
- What is Embodiment? Why is it necessary and how can we adopt it more easily.
Different ways that wisdom is contained within the body. - Practical applications of mindfulness in daily life; emphasis on the body.
- Feeling tone; what it is and why is it necessary to be able to work skilfully with.
Automatic responses and cultivating the space between stimulus and response. - Emotions; common resistance to feeling emotions and reasons.
The role of the body in feeling emotions. RAIN model for navigating emotions. - Thoughts; broad categories of ‘thinking’ as mental activity.
When thinking is problematic. Ways of working with thoughts to assist depersonalisation. - Compassion; reasons why it is integral to our whole approach within meditation.
Obstacles to self-compassion. Kindness practices. - Overview of the sessions, material so far and assessment of progress and insights.
